Risk Eliminator Policy

Objective

Our risk-free offer guarantees our customers will not lose money on any product that requires a markdown to sell through, which is purchased on any complete promotional program from Famous Toys. 

Famous Toys will credit the difference after the product has been reduced to cost for a period of one month and will continue to markdown the product until it has a complete sell through. 

Credit Process

Famous Toys commits to crediting the price difference after a product has been reduced to cost for a stipulated one-month period. This commitment extends until the product achieves a complete sell-through, demonstrating our dedication to customer satisfaction. 

Operational Procedure

Step 1: Is the product marked to our suggested retail and hasn’t sold 6 months after the original invoice date? 

Step 2: Contact your sales rep, and document which items are a concern. We require a list of items and their current on hand inventory. 

Step 3: Mark the product down to your cost for a 1-month period. Please be prepared to document via photographs any signage advertising the clearance price.  

Step 4: In case of remaining inventory, implement a 25% markdown, and submit a list of  markdown items to Famous Toys to receive a credit. Provide an updated list of inventory on hand to assess the effectiveness of the first markdown, and update the signage to reflect the improved discount (with supporting images for documentation) 

Step 5: Continue marking down the product by 25% on a monthly basis until a sell-out or receipt of a full credit. Continue to provide quantities on hand with each subsequent markdown request, updating signage and photographic documentation with each request.
